Over time, the pins can corrode and lead to intermittent bulb issues but replacing the holder is quick and straightforward. Installation typically takes just 5 - 10 minutes, making it an easy fix to restore proper lighting performance.

To access the rear bulb holder, open the tailgate and remove the small black bolt securing the rear light. Gently wiggle the light unit free and disconnect the wiring plug. Place the light somewhere safe to avoid scratching the lens. The bulb holder is clipped to the rear light, simply unclip it to release the holder. Once removed, you’re ready to install the replacement unit.
