Grades

External Panel & Bumper Grade

Bumpers, Bonnets, Tailgates, Wings, Doors etc

  • Grade A - "Prep & Paint" < 1 UOD (Unit Of Damage) requiring prep / repair work
  • Grade B - "Repair & Paint" 1-2 UOD (Unit Of Damage) requiring prep / repair work
  • Grade C - Significant Repair & Paint" - >2 UOD (Unit Of Damage) requiring prep / repair work

Mechanical Grade

Engines, Gearboxes, Driveshafts etc

  • Grade A is given to mechanical parts with less than 60,000 miles.
  • Grade B is given to mechanical parts with between 60,000 & 100,000 miles.
  • Grade C is given to mechanical parts with more than 100,000 miles.

Electrical Components Grade

Switches, Controls, Media Systems etc

  • Grade A is given to parts that are in full working condition, clean, undamaged and of similar quality to a new OEM part.
  • Grade B is given to parts that are in full working condition & may contain minor cosmetic imperfections. (For example; light staining or marks)
  • Grade C is given to parts that are in full working condition & may contain moderate cosmetic imperfections. (For example; worn print or moderate marking)

Electrical Grade

Alternators, Starter Motors, ECU's etc

  • Grade A is given to electrical parts that have been tested and are in full working condition.

Front & Rear Light Grade

  • Grade A is given to parts that are in full working condition, clean, undamaged and of similar quality to a new OEM part.
  • Grade B is given to parts that are in full working condition & may contain light surface scratches to the lens.
  • Grade C is given to parts that are in full working condition & may contain slight clouding of the lens, cracked mounting brackets and light surface scratches to the lens.

External Mirror Grade

  • Grade A - Full Working Condition - "Prep & Paint" < 1 UOD (Unit Of Damage) requiring prep / repair work
  • Grade B - Full Working Condition - "Repair & Paint" 1-2 UOD (Unit Of Damage) requiring prep / repair work
  • Grade C - Functional But May Need Minor Repair - "Significant Repair & Paint" - >2 UOD (Unit Of Damage) requiring prep / repair work
  • Grade U - Untested or Does NOT operate as intended by Original Equipment Manufacture

Glass Panel Grade

Door & Side Window Glass

  • Grade A is given to parts that are in working condition, clean, undamaged and of similar quality to a new OEM part.
  • Grade B is given to parts that are in working condition & may contain light scratches and weathering.

Wheel Grade

Alloy Wheels

  • Grade A is given to parts that are in full working condition, have less than 1 unit of damage which may be minor visual blemishes/imperfections only and of similar quality to a new OEM part.
  • Grade B is given to parts that are in full working condition, have between 1 - 2 units of damage which may consist of Light kerbing, scuffs, lacquer peel or corrosion.
  • Grade C is given to parts that are in full working condition, have more than 2 units of damage which may consist of Light kerbing, scuffs, lacquer peel, corrosion or minor deformations that can be rectified by balancing.

Cosmetic Grade

  • Grade A is given to parts that are in working condition, similar quality to a new OEM part
  • Grade B is given to parts that are in working condition & may contain minor cosmetic imperfections
  • Grade C is given to parts that are in working condition & may contain moderate cosmetic imperfections

Seat Grade

  • Grade A is given to parts that are in working condition, similar quality to a new OEM part
  • Grade B is given to parts that are in working condition & may contain minor imperfections
  • Grade C is given to parts that are in working condition & may contain moderate / significant imperfections and/or wear / tear

Non Moving Parts (Appearance Non-Sensitive) Grade

Subframes, Wheel Arch Liners, Bumper Reinforcers etc

  • Grade A is given to parts that are in full working condition, have no moving parts and their appearance is Non-Sensitive

Heat Exchanger, Radiators & A/C Evaporators Grade

  • Grade A is given to parts that are in working condition, similar quality to a new OEM part
  • Grade B is given to parts that are in working condition & may contain minor cosmetic imperfections
  • Grade C is given to parts that are in working condition & may contain significant cosmetic imperfections
